Viticulture is important to many regions in Switzerland. Vineyards are a common sight. However, this „art“ faces more and more challenges in many areas: commercial, cultural, biological etc. I think we have to keep demand up, hence I favour a good Swiss wine over imported products and particularly like the reds and whites from around Twann (BE). With a small group of friends we visited the hills surrounding the village, the cellar and also tasted the products of Werner K. Engel AG (www.frauenkopf.ch). Thank you for the day, Werner.
