Barcelona has fascinated me before (see the 1st gallery). An aviation related trigger allowed us to visit this city in Spain again. There’s a lot to see but the most amazing (and crazy) sights are those of artist Antoni Gaudi. Last time, 9 years ago in 2007, I visited Casa Battlo and Parc Güell. This year I added La Pedrera and Palau Güell. On both visits, I also visited the church La Sagrada Familia. Oh boy this building is probably the craziest on earth. The amount of artwork is insane. I really like the style of Gaudi as an Architect. The size and effort are just collosal. And looking at the pics from 2007, the progress is indeed visible. As always, city squares, churches, the harbour, the beach, etc. all have their appeal as well. Enjoy the pics!
